FLW COLLEGE FISHING WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP SET TO COMPETE ON CLEAR LAKE

LAKEPORT, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2015) – FLW College Fishing is headed to Clear Lake in Lakeport, California, October 17-18 for the Western Conference Championship tournament. Thirty college teams have qualified for this event will be competing for a top award of $4,000 and a berth in the 2016 FLW College Fishing National Championship.

A grand total of 69 athletes from 18 countries are confirmed to compete in the inaugural ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship Presented by Challenged Athletes Foundation, Hurley, Stance and the City of San Diego, which will officially begin on Thursday, September 24.

LACONIA, N.H. (Sept. 22, 2015) – The North Branford High School duo of Anthony Ferraiolo and Ryan Kusmit from North Branford, Connecticut, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 10 pounds, 8 ounces, to win the 2015 TBF/FLW High School Fishing Northern Conference Championship tournament on Lake Winnipesaukee in Laconia, New Hampshire. The win earned the team the title of Northern Conference champions and advanced the team to the 2016 High School Fishing National championship, held next spring at a location yet to be announced in conjunction with the TBF National Championship and a Walmart FLW Tour event.

(Sept. 21, 2015) – Jamie Hartman of Newport, New York, weighed four bass totaling 9 pounds, 10 ounces Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Northeast Division Super Tournament on Chesapeake Bay with a two-day total of nine bass weighing 30 pounds, 5 ounces. For his victory, Hartman earned $5,004.

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (Sept. 21, 2015) – Kyle Weisenburger of Ottawa, Ohio, weighed four bass totaling 6 pounds, 5 ounces Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Buckeye Division Super Tournament on Indian Lake with a two-day total of eight bass weighing 12 pounds, 11 ounces. For his victory, Weisenburger earned $3,971.

IUKA, Miss. (Sept. 21, 2015) – Aaron Harrelson of Glen, Mississippi, weighed four bass totaling 18 pounds, 2 ounces, Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Mississippi Division Super Tournament on Pickwick Lake with a two-day total of nine bass weighing 32 pounds, 9 ounces. For his victory, Harrelson earned $6,638.
“I caught my fish in 8-foot depths near grass on a red worm and a chartreuse and white-colored spinnerbait,” said Harrelson of his first career win in FLW competition. “I also caught some on a G-Bait Custom Lures Jig.”

(Sept. 21, 2015) – Dennis Berhorst of Holts Summit, Missouri, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 1 ounce Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Ozark Division Super Tournament on Lake of the Ozarks with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 39 pounds, 8 ounces. For his victory, Berhorst earned $8,349.
